Doula Labor/Birth Support Services

My3Doulas offers a custom Doula program of continuous physical, emotional and informational support to mothers/families before, during and long after the childbirth process.

With proven experience, credentials and satisfied referrals, we are experts in the physiological and emotional aspects of childbirth. Our objective is to foster a positive and memorable experience for mom, baby, dad, and any participating support members.

Fundamentally, our responsibility is to facilitate communication between mom, her partner, and medical staff. With applicable experience and insight, we can explain in simple terms what is happening during the birthing process and empower the woman to make informed decisions based on her unique birthing plan. A team of 3 Doulas, we are responsive 24/7 thoughout the greater Sacramento area.

Jen Rode and Janet Carroll are our primary birth doulas, with Anita Butler providing back-up support. Birth doula services include one to two prenatal appointments, help creating your birth plan, unrestricted phone support, continuous hands-on support during labor and birth through first latch at breast, birth story, and a postpartum visit, scheduled according to your needs. Postpartum Doula Services
We offer postpartum care and support on an "as agreed" basis, ranging from three to twenty-four hours per day, seven days a week. We are able to travel to you, wherever you live, inside or outside the U.S. For families far away, we can interview by phone or webcam. Once our services have been retained, air travel and lodging would be paid by the client.

Our regular fees are $35/hour from Monday at 9:00a.m. through Friday at 4:00p.m. Weekends are from Friday at 4:00p.m. until Monday at 9:00a.m., and are billed at $45/hour.
For extended 24/7 live-in care, we offer day rates by agreement.
Fees may be adjusted (up or down) for multiples, special needs babies, or families facing financial hardship.
